Because this device doesn't have replaceable probes, it is not recommended for dogs with long or thick fur. If this is your dog, look at the X1500 or PT200.

I like the adjustable shock setting, I only had to use the shock setting a small amount of times for my barking dog. I used the beep function before operating the shock. I only have to use the beeping function and he has learned to stop barking
It doesn’t work through the Jack Russell fur, I would recommend it if you don’t have a Jack Russell
It works for my American staffy and last awhile before it Doesn’t work and you gotta buy a new one. I also have other dog that’s stubborn and it doesn’t work for him so not recommend for 40kg dogs and stubborn dogs. All and all it is a good product definitely by for 20kg to 30kg dogs
After trying so many other ways to curb my Mini Dachshund barking including lots of training advices, Citronella collars and Hemp oil. Nothing worked for long. But this collar is amazing. We first use verbal commands, then using the sound button on the collar, then the vibration (which most times is enough). But if he still persists in barking, we use the static Electricity Zap. Just the one zap as a wakeup call. It doesn't hurt him at all just give a slight shock to snap him out of his fixation. Then he will mostly stop barking and if he does bark again just the noise button is enough to remind him. My neighbours are happy and so is the household.
Our border collie-kelpie was chasing and biting cars. The vibration worked for a bit, but soon stopped responding to it properly. The zap has worked wonders, I'm still in the training process but he has come a long way. One thing that could benefit this collar is for it to be waterproof.
The collar appears to be turning off by it's self after a period of roughly 6hr. A couple of times now I have expected it to work but it has obviously turned off.

We have 2 adult Smithfield working dogs that have had a long term barking habit.
Its only taken a few weeks with the collars to show behavioral effects. Before the barking collars they would become so excited they would start biting tires or bashing madly around their enclosures for up to 5 minutes.

It works brilliantly. The neighbours tell me he rarely barks now and I notice that he just does a soft bark sometimes and then stops. I lost one of the short probes recently and emailed Pet-Tech who replaced them for me at no charge. Amazing as it was my fault I lost them.

Very happy with this collar for our large breed dog. The buzzer is stronger enough for him to stop chasing bike riders, plus the bark collar has been good with the noisy neighbours. YES I recommend this product, thank you to PET-TECH have a good Christmas break.
